Reflection
My proposal for the class was to flip the classroom. I had done some research on "Flipped Classroom" in another class before EDU 777 02. For this class, I started implementing slowly with my students. My style of teaching is, I Do, We Do, You Do. It has always worked fine. After learning about flipped classrooms, I started introducing note videos. My goal is to transform and implement my classroom for next semester. So far, I can say that the note videos have helped. I started including the videos for students to use to "catch up" or "review." At first, I had students complain, but later on, I had students say that they liked the videos better than having me teach directly. This was a positive aspect because I thought it was going to be hard for students to be responsible for their learning, especially on days that they were absent. The negative aspect of this is that I have noticed that it is hard for some students to follow along with the videos. They think watching a video means that they are watching a music video. They do not realize that they are notes and that they should be watching and taking notes.
I am very optimistic to try this and transform my classroom 100% next semester. Some students will like this new change while others may struggle. I will make sure I provide all the necessary accommodations for all my students and hope this is a successful plan. I am also feeling optimistic to know I have such a supportive team. Technology specialist roles in learning and instructional design have helped me how to process my ideas better. How to implement those ideas into the plan. At first, I was not sure how or what plan would I be using, but everything now just flows very naturally. I am sure by the end of next semester I will have students who will be successful independents.
Reflection is an essential part of the academic journey, allowing students to evaluate their learning process and identify areas for growth. Deep introspection often reveals the complexities of a study, highlighting both successes and challenges. When the pressure of these academic demands becomes overwhelming, many students look for professional guidance. If you find yourself thinking, "write my research paper for me," seeking expert support can provide the clarity needed. Ultimately, balancing personal reflection with reliable assistance ensures a more comprehensive and successful educational experience.
